Misa
Owner, Maker, Shipper
Hi! Most of my close friends know me by my name, Misa. I design, create, photograph, dispatch and do everything you see on my shop page and listing. I'm a mum to a toddler, and I am a perfectionist at heart.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship overseas?
Mochi La Vie sends locally within Australia, and is currently trialling international shipping to New Zealand and the United States of America.
How long will you take to despatch my order?
I will despatch your order the next business day after receiving the cleared payment.
What method of post is used?
We use tracked parcel post with AusPost only as this is the most reliable and largest network. The postage charge we charge is reflective of current AusPost postage charges. This is a flat rate postage fee within Australia.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Most items will be sent with the minimal amount of disposable packaging, and where possible, will be sent with packaging that is protective, recyclable or recycled. Some items that are labour intensive and potentially fragile will be sent boxed. This will be noted in the listing.
Need more? We can make them upon request
Our listings show each item as "1" as we only make one, but if you send a message and require more, we can make them provided we still have the materials at no extra charge (just pay the item cost), and still bundle them together in the one parcel to save on postage.
Disclaimer
I take a lot of pride in the workmanship I put into the goods I create, but I also do have a "towards zero waste" policy while I am creating things. Things may not always be perfect, but that's also the beauty of putting something to use, and it shows its process of being created by hand, not machine. If for any reason there may be any imperfections, my listing will mention it.
What colour thread do you use?
I know this is a super weird question, I mean, why would anyone ask? Well, for good reason, because I only use red thread, regardless of the colour of the fabric. The only exceptions will be for: embroidery work, some gathering which may require a different type of string. If you receive an item and can see the red threads, it is not an imperfection, but rather a celebration of the crafting that went into creating the item.
